Plymouth Athletics continued a busy winter stretch with competitive games, strong individual performances, and continued growth across basketball, wrestling, swimming & diving, and gymnastics. ⸻ 🏀 Girls Basketball C-Team Lady Pilgrims Drop Heartbreaker at Marian The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims C Team battled to the final buzzer Saturday afternoon but came up just short in a 32–29 loss at Mishawaka Marian. Plymouth set the tone early with outstanding defense, holding the Knights to just one point in the first quarter and carrying a 13–7 halftime lead. After Marian made a second-half push, the Lady Pilgrims answered with a strong third quarter before the game came down to the final seconds. Miel Ramirez led Plymouth with 11 points, while Anna Ogle and Olivia Collins each added 6 points. ⸻ Lady Pilgrims Face Ranked Warsaw The Lady Pilgrims hosted sixth-ranked Warsaw on Friday night and faced a tough challenge, falling 80–17. Warsaw’s pressure, speed, and physicality led to multiple transition opportunities and efficient perimeter shooting. Despite the outcome, Chloe Horton continued her strong play, leading Plymouth with 15 points, including four three-pointers. The Lady Pilgrims return to action Tuesday night on the road at John Glenn. ⸻ C-Team Lady Pilgrims Close Season at Chesterton The Plymouth C Team wrapped up its season with a 32–18 loss at Chesterton. Jesse Allmon led the way with a 4–1 record at 132 lbs, as the Rockies showed continued resilience and effort throughout the day. The coaching staff praised the team’s attitude and perseverance. ⸻ Lady Rockies Place Third at Tom Cameron Tournament The Plymouth Lady Rockies earned a 3rd-place finish in a strong six-team field, posting a 3–2 team record and improving to 8–2 on the season. Seniors Caleb Jones and John Klinedinst were honored prior to the match. Coaches praised the teams’ work ethic and continued improvement. ⸻ Swimming & Diving vs. Warsaw Plymouth competed with energy against a strong Warsaw squad.
