JV Baseball - Pilgrims Get Big Win Over NorthWood

Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims easily dispatched NorthWood JV Panthers 12-2 on Monday Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims got things moving in the first inning, when Cooper Grolich singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims notched four runs in the third inning. The offensive firepower by Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims was led by Michael Gibbons, Aiden Landis, and Malachi Sieh, all driving in runs in the inning. Landis toed the rubber for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims. Landis lasted six innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out four. Matthew Earl was on the pitcher's mound for NorthWood JV Panthers. The bulldog went two and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs on six hits, striking out one and walking zero. Aiden Boggs and Kaysen Leiter entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and two-thirds innings and one inning respectively. Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims collected 13 hits. Grolich, Gibbons, Landis, and Austin Price each managed multiple hits for Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims. Grolich led Plymouth Junior Varsity Pilgrims with three hits in three at bats.
