Plymouth 3, Warsaw 2 at Plymouth Singles: 1. Addie Lind (W) beat Bella Kain 6-0, 6-0 2. Annie Plothow (P) beat Abby Nicholas 6-3, 7-5 3. Emma Van Puffelen (C) beat Tynley Gantz 6-4, 6-3 Doubles: 1. Taylor Delp-Ellie Jones (P) beat Avery Landwerlen-Clara Porter 6-0, 6-0 2. Morgan Langfeldt-Cassidy Riddle (P) beat Claire Reichenbach-Lucy Wray 7-6(5), 6-1 JV Score: Plymouth 10, Warsaw 2 Records: Plymouth 5-1 (1-0) Highlights: Plymouth started their 2023 NLC slate by hosting Warsaw at the Mary Beth Hunter Tennis Complex Tuesday night, winning a close match with their NLC rivals 3-2. The Pilgrims and Tigers split the first two completed matches, with Bella Kain falling to 2022 All State player Addie Lind at 1S and the Plymouth 1D team of Taylor Delp-Ellie Jones winning their match 6-0, 6-0. The 2D team of Morgan Langfeldt-Cassidy Riddle survived a tight first set 7-6, and then settled in and cruised in the second. Annie Plothow beat another quality opponent, coming back from a 5-4 deficit in the second set to win 7-5 and secure a straight-set win and the team win. Tynley Gantz played another close match at 3S, but fell in straight sets. The Plymouth JV beat Warsaw 10-2. Singles winners for the Pilgrims were Tallie Hundt, Natalie Sheely, and Claire Lewandowski. Doubles winners for the Pilgrims were Emma Jackson-Maddy Thangam, Marley Christy-Cloe Byrd, Lena Houin-Jo Houin, Mia Hartley-Sophia Cantero, Niki Melendez-Kiley Pitts, Emma Rozycki-Magaly Rodriguez, and Maddie Harness-Toni Howard. #PTforLIFE
