Each position in the Pilgrims lineup finished the day with a 2-1 record, highlighted by 3S Tynley Gantz, 1D Taylor Delp-Ellie Jones, and 2D Morgan Langfeldt-Cassidy Riddle all getting to the finals of their respective brackets. Overall as a team, the Pilgrims finished the day in third place out of eight teams. Both doubles teams lost their final matches of the day (1D vs. Peru, 2D vs. Fairfield) via super-tiebreaker, while Tynley Gantz lost a close battle in the 3S final to Fairfield, with one set being a close tiebreaker. Both 1S Bella Kain and 2S Annie Plothow lost their opening round matches, but followed up that loss with two wins to finish the day in fifth place. Plymouth will get a much-needed day off, and then prepare for their NLC opener at home on Tuesday April 18 vs. Warsaw at 5:15PM. Go Big Red!
