Lady Pilgrims Post Strong Effort at Kokomo Invitational

The Plymouth Lady Pilgrims varsity golf team continued their busy early-season stretch on Saturday, traveling to Chippendale Golf Club for the Kokomo Invitational. Facing a competitive 16-team field and battling through humid summer conditions, the Lady Pilgrims posted a team score of 404, placing 12th overall. Noblesville dominated the event with a championship score of 298, showcasing one of the deepest lineups in the state. ⸻ Plymouth Scorecard Highlights Senior Taylor Hauptmann once again paced the Pilgrims, firing a 92 (45-47) with steady play throughout the day. Junior Meredith Borden posted her best round of the season with a 94 (47-47), while senior Hanley Feldman also recorded a season-low 102 (51-51). Sophomore Katy Longanecker battled through a tough front nine but rebounded on the back to finish with a 116 (65-51), and junior Sydney Manuwal capped the scoring with a personal-best 140 (72-68). ⸻ Coach’s Corner “Our girls did a great job battling on a tough, tight course in some pretty humid conditions,” said Head Coach [Insert Name]. “Meredith, Hanley, and Sydney all posted their season lows today.
