Plymouth 4, Valparaiso 1 at Valparaiso Singles: 1. Emily Hatseras (V) beat Annie Plothow 6-3, 6-1 2. Ellie Jones (P) beat Laney Mario 6-3, 6-7(5), 7-5 3. Tynley Gantz (P) beat Reagan Williams 6-4, 6-0 Doubles: 1. Taylor Delp-Morgan Langfeldt (P) beat Izze Piggott-Kallie Belcher 6-4, 6-1 2. Tallie Hundt-Cassidy Riddle (P) beat Zoe Cusson-Kaitie Shideler 6-1, 6-3 JV Score: Plymouth 8, Valparaiso 8 Records: Plymouth 2-1, Valparaiso 1-1 Highlights: Plymouth traveled to Valparaiso Monday night to play the district-ranked Vikings, winning by a 4-1 score. 3S Tynley Gantz, 1D Taylor Delp-Morgan Langfeldt, and 2D Tallie Hundt-Cassidy Riddle all won their matches in straight sets for the reshuffled Pilgrims lineup. 1S Annie Plothow battled, but lost to a quality opponent. The match of the night was at 2S, where Ellie Jones outlasted her Viking counterpart in a 3+ hour, back-and-forth affair 7-5 in the third set. The Plymouth JV tied Valparaiso 8-8. Singles winner for the Pilgrims was Alivia Kizer. Doubles winners for the Pilgrims were Marley Christy-Emma Jackson, Cloe Byrd-Natalie Sheely, Lena Houin-Jo Houin, Niki Melendez-Kiley Pitts, Emma Rozycki-Magaly Rodriguez, Sophia Cantero-Mia Hartley, and Mackenzie Himes-Kali Newcomb.
