Track & Field - Pilgrims and Lady Pilgrims Get Double Wins Over Rochester and Caston

The Plymouth Pilgrims Track & Field teams delivered a strong performance in this week’s meet, showing their versatility and depth across all event areas. The hurdlers set the tone early, with Jersey Hunter claiming first in the 100m hurdles, followed closely by Alexis Doll and Eva Macey. Cole Figg earned second place in the boys’ 110 hurdles, and the 300 hurdles saw multiple Pilgrims place, including Eva Macey (2nd), Alexis Doll (3rd), and Ethan O’Leary (2nd). The sprinters brought home a number of top finishes, with Yuli Contreras leading the girls’ sprints by winning both the 100m and 200m dashes. On the boys’ side, Carter Bush sprinted to first in the 100m, with teammates Jaden Yates and Brady Coffin close behind. Distance runners also had an impressive showing, as Vivy Miller won the 1600m and Lola Hissong took first in the 800m. The boys were led by Freddy Kallenberg (2nd in 1600m) and Aidan Faulstich, who earned a win in the 800m. In the field events, Ava Lloyd had a standout meet, winning the high jump and finishing second in both the long jump and shot put. Caz Hundt took home two victories in the boys’ high jump and pole vault. The throwing events featured strong depth for Plymouth, with multiple athletes placing in the top four across shot put and discus. Overall, it was a well-rounded and energetic meet for the Pilgrims, and the team will look to carry this momentum into their next competition.
