The Plymouth Rockies traveled to Goshen to compete in the Northern Lakes conference. After a tough day of wrestling Plymouth placed 5th place with 134.5 pts. The Rockies finished with 2 NLC champions, Juniors Wesley Smith (36-1) at 145lbs and Anthony Popi (34-2) at 285lbs. Junior Caydn Smith (30-6) got 2nd place at 160lbs. Sophomore Chris Firebaugh (26-10) earn 3rd place at 132lbs. Senior Matt McCrum (22-9), Juniors Alonzo Chantea (21-8) and Seth Wright (22-8) got 4th place. Sophomore Braxton White (23-10) got 5th place. Senior Justin Garrett (18-15) got 6th place. Plymouth next step is the state series starting with sectionals on Jan 28th.
