The Plymouth Rockies traveled to Elkhart, IN to take on the Concord Minutemen weds night! The final dual meet of the season started at 182lbs with Rockie Matt McCrum winning his match with a first period fall. Plymouth freshman John Klinedinst lost a major decision to the Concord 195 lber who is currently ranked 8th in the state but had the crowd holding the their breath with a late reversal resulting in what was almost a fall. John showed what continuing to battle to the final bell can give you the opportunity to do. Concord collected a forfeit at 220lbs. Anthony Popi battled his way to a 3-0 decision. Concord answered back with a fall at 106lbs. Plymouth collected a forfeit of their own at 113 lbs. Sophomore Braxton White performed well earning the fall at 120lbs. Freshman Coen Kraemer was involved in the most exciting match of the not eventually dropping the match by 1 point, but had the gym in an uproar in a back forth battle. Plymouth picks up a forfeit at 132lbs making the match 27-19. Junior Seth Wright keeps the pressure on winning a 7-1 Dec at 138lbs. Sophomore Luca Giordano comes in with a solid performance at 145lbs winning by major decision 14-6. Junior Wesley Smith bumped up to 152 to pick up the fall followed by brother Caydn Smith coming away with a fall of his own at 160lbs. Final match of the night at 170 lbs Rockie Senior Justin Garrett earns the fall to put a on the night. Final score was Plymouth 52 Concord 19. The Rockies will travel to Goshen Saturday for her Northern Lakes Conference meet. --
