Pilgrims Swim First NLC Meet Against Concord

Plymouth Boys and Girls opened up their conference season on Tuesday against the Concord Minutemen. The meet was the first for Plymouth Boys and Concord girls and boys teams. Plymouth showed continued improvement scoring more points than last year despite taking the loss. Final Girls Score: Plymouth: 62 Concord: 124 Final Boys Score: Plymouth: 41 Concord: 141 Against one of the top teams in the state, and projected conference champions, Plymouth still had noteworthy moments. Congratulations to Fitz Holm on earning the top boy’s finish with a 1st place in the 100 fly in a time of 57.33. Kathryn Morrison earned the sole girl’s 1st place finish out touching a Concord swimmer in the 200 freestyle in 2:19.91. The following athletes earned 2nd place in their events: Vivian Wheeler - 50 Free, 100 Free Lucy Keirn - 100 backstroke Marley Houin - 100 breaststroke Fitz Holm - 100 backstroke Kyleigh Kara - 500 Free Congratulations to the following athletes who had best times: Claire Lewandowski: 200 Free, 500 Free, 100 Free Lauren Kopetski: 200 Free, 50 Free Marisa Langfeldt: 200IM, 100 Breaststroke Katelyn Golba: 50 Free, 100 Back Alissa Kessler: 50 Free Emma Jackson: 50 Free Thea Shepherd: Diving Lucy Keirn: 100 Fly Matthew Finney: 100 Free Max Marohn: 50 Free Madison Hauptmann: 100 Back This was the boys debut therefore all rookies had "best times!" Both teams will enjoy Thanksgiving and hit the water again competing against New Prairie Tuesday November 29th.
