With two teams only separated by 17 miles the crowd that filled the gym saw a hard fought battle between two schools that have high expectations for this season. In a back and forth game the Pilgrims were able to follow the JV and separate themselves late in the game to come out victorious with a 46-37 win. The Pilgrims were able to force the Falcons to shoot just 26% from the field and out rebounded the Falcons 30-21. Glenn was able to keep the game close by forcing the Pilgrims to 25 turnovers while the Falcons just had 12 throughout the game. In a tough task of holding down Glenn leading scorer Bryce Hannah, the Pilgrims were able to hold him for just 11 points and just 5 rebounds thanks to the tough play of Michael Sheely, Easton Strain and Kadyn Ellery. Davis Wray lead all scoring with 17 points while grabbing 7 rebounds. Kadyn Ellery put in 9 points, Michael Sheely had 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The Pilgrims are back in action Tuesday, Nov. 29th when they face Triton with JV tip at 6:15 with varsity to follow.
