Girls Swimming Gets 3rd Win on Young Season

Plymouth added another W to the Win column on Tuesday as they traveled to Rochester. Highlights included Plymouth winning 1st and 2nd in all 3 relays and taking 1st place in 11 out of the 12 events. Plymouth individuals swept the top three spots in the 200 Free, 200 IM, 50 free, 100 Free, 500 free, 100 backstroke, and the 100 breaststroke which greatly contributed to their lead. Congratulations to the following athletes on their multiple first place finishes: Four out of Four events 1st place finishes: Lucy Keirn - 200 IM, 100 Back, 200 Medley Relay, 400 Free Relay Vivian Wheeler - 100 Fly, 100 Breaststroke, 200 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay 3 out of 4 events with 1st place finishes: Marley Houin - 200 Free, 500 Free, 400 Free Relay Kieran Gritton - 100 Free, 200 Medley Relay, 400 Free Relay 2 out of 4 events with 1st place finishes: Kathryn Morrison - 50 Free, 400 Free Relay Several swimmers had lifetime best times including: Alissa Kessler (50 Free, Diving), Lauren Kopetski (200 Free, 100 Free), Claire Lewandowski (100 Free), Kyleigh Kara (100 Free), Stella Awald (50 Free) Final Score: Plymouth High School - 145 Rochester - 39 Plymouth takes to the pool again on Thursday facing off against a tough Bremen squad. The meet will be girls only, with diving starting at 5:30 at the Susan Bardwell Aquatic Center.
