The Jv Lady Pilgrims took on Mishawaka Marian Tuesday night in basketball and came away with a very impressive 40-12 win. The Lady Pilgrims came out shooting and jumped out to a 17-2 lead after the first quarter and never looked back allowing only 8 points for the rest of the game. The Lady Pilgrims forced 20 turnovers and out rebounding the Lady Knights 33 to 21. The Lady Pilgrims were lead in scoring by Mady Sullivan with 11 points. Tynley Gantz added 9 points, Liz Derifield 7 points and Lilly Runyan with 5 points. Eva Sheedy lead with 8 rebounds with Megan Overmyer adding 4 rebounds and multiple Lady Pilgrims with 3. The Lady Pilgrims defense held the Knights offense to just 11% from the field. The Lady Pilgrims are now 1-1 on the season and host Michigan City this Saturday, November 14th with tip at 12:30pm at The Rock.
