The Lady Rockies took on Concord last night in a very exciting fall night with the Minutemen taking the 2-0 win. The Lady Rockies held possession again for most of the first half controlling the ball and attacking the goal but just weren’t able to get past the last line of defense of Concord to put real pressure on the goalie. Going into halftime the score was tied with both teams only getting one shot on goal. But the second half the Concord offense wore down on the Lady Rockies taking control of the ball and being able to slip past the defense and putting pressure on Rockies goalie getting 8 shots on goal. It wasn’t till the 66th minute that the Lady Minutemen finally got past the defense and put the ball in the net. Concord then put another one past the Rockies defense in the 74th minute. The Lady Rockies are back in action Thursday when the JV takes on Tippy Valley while the varsity takes on Wawasee.
