The Pilgrims traveled to Goshen to take on the Redhawks on Wednesday night and the Pilgrim would both battle but fall short for both the JV and Varsity. The JV Pilgrims would come out strong but just couldn't close out the game and would get the defeat by a score of 5 to 8. Leading the Pilgrims was Grady Metsker going 1 for 2 with 2 walks and 2 runs scored, Owen Walleske continues to have the hot bat going 2 for 3 with an RBI, while Cruz Rosas went 1 for 3 with a walk and RBI. The Varsity Pilgrims saw themselves take a 2 run lead going into the bottom of the 7th and just couldn't get the final 3 outs which can be the hardest outs to get and would end in heartbreak losing in 9 innings 7 to 8. Preston Wolfe would go 3 for 5 with a run scored and 2 RBI, Ethan Hall went 3 for 5 with a run scored and RBI while Drake Feece went 2 for 5 with a run scored and 2 RBI. The Pilgrims host Wawasee starting at 5:30 PM at Bill Nixon Field and the JV Field.
