The Lady Pilgrims traveled to Eastlake Tennis Complex in Elkhart Tuesday night in order to finish the regular NLC season before the NLC tournament that starts Wednesday. The Lady Pilgrims had to not only get over the hurdle of the bad weather but to handle playing indoors for this last match that would determine seeding for the tournament. One singles of Annie Plothow would defeat Sage Wheatley 6-2, 6-4. Two Singles of Tynley Gantz would suffer straight set loss 0-6, 2-6 but will see her opponent again in the tournament on Wednesday. Three singles of Izzie Wray also lost but in 3 sets, 6-1, 4-6, 2-6. The One doubles team of Emma Jackson-Cassidy Riddle won in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 while it came down to the Two doubles of Lena Houin-Alivia Kizer for the match and they would suffer the loss 1-6,4-6. The Lady Pilgrims finished the regular season 4th behind the three way tie with NorthWood, Warsaw and Northridge. NLC action starts tonight around 4 pm at Baker Park in Mishawaka for the 1st round of the NLC tournament.
