The Lady Pilgrims honored 5 seniors before playing the Warsaw Tigers in NLC action last night. It was a amazing weather and a great showing from the Lady Pilgrims who would pull out the win 6 to 4 over the upset minded Tigers. The Lady Pilgrims would honor before the game Elsaya Bohm, Kayla Johnson, Rylee Mann, Emma Krupp and Eva Stuckmeyer. The Lady Pilgrims would get 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning and force the Tigers to change pitchers and never looked back till the Tigers would get bases loaded in the top of the 7th. Kayla Johnson got the win throwing 6 innings giving up 5 hits on 4 runs and striking out 4 Tigers. Leading at the plate was Bohm going 2 for 4 with a run scored and 1 RBI, Johnson went 1 for 3 with 2 RBI, Rylee Mann went 1 for 3 with a run scored and RBI and Aubrey Ferguson going 1 for 3 with a run scored and 1 RBI. The Lady Pilgrims are now 10 and 8 overall and 6 and 4 in the NLC. They will host the Goshen Redhawks on Wednesday in a Varsity only contest starting at 5:30 PM.
