The Rockies were able to defend the home turf as they defeated Wawasee with a score of 28-12. The Rockies defense was able to get them on the board to start with an interception that was returned for a touchdown by safety Andres Medrano. Wawasee was able to answer back, but not before Brady Coffin caught a touchdown pass from Grady Metsker. The score going into the half was 14-12 with the Rockies on top. The second half was dominated by the defense for the Rockies as they were able to shut out the Warriors in the second half. Andres Medrano and Avery Rivera played exceptionally well on defense throughout the game, but really turned it up in the second half. Touchdown runs from Grady Metsker and Finn Holm helped put the Rockies on top 28-12.
