Softball - Lady Pilgrims Get 5th Win In A Row Over Goshen

The Lady Pilgrims haven't won at Goshen in a very long time, well that ended last night as the Lady Pilgrims move their win streak up to 5 games in a row defeating the Redhawks 5 to 2. With the game being very close it was the Lady Pilgrims who got the big inning in the 6th scoring 3 runs and holding off the Goshen bats for the final 6 outs. Kayla Johnson gets the win on the mound throwing all 7 innings giving up 6 hits, 0 walks and striking out 1. At the plate the Lady Pilgrims were led by Rylee Mann going 2 for 4 with 1 RBI, Elsaya Bohm going 1 for 4 with 2 RBI. Haylee Busse scored 3 times in the game and Gracie Patrick and Kayla Johnson would both score as well. The Lady Pilgrims are now 3-1 in NLC play at are tied for 2nd place with NorthWood and Northridge just behind Mishawaka at 4-0. The Lady Pilgrims are back at home Wednesday, April 24th when they host Wawasee with first pitch set for 5:30 PM.
