After getting rained out on Thursday against LaVille the Pilgrims were able to find an opponent in Whitko to play one last game before NLC play. Kaden Milliser got the ball for the Pilgrims and was great from the first pitch in throwing strikes and keeping the Wildcats off balance all night. Milliser would go the full 5 innings and strikeout 8 Wildcats and only walked one in a 15-3 victory. The Pilgrims continue to have hot bats at the plate with scoring 15 runs for the 3 straight home game in scoring double digits. The Pilgrims broke through in the 3rd inning when the Pilgrims scored 9 runs. Leading the Pilgrims at the plate was Senior Cooper Grolich going 3 for 3 and getting 5 RBI and scoring 3 runs himself. Caleb Bowling was 1 for 3 with an RBI while Parker Wolfe came off the bench to go 1 for 1 with an RBI. Senior Tre Jordan went 2 for 2 and scoring 2 runs. The Pilgrims will open up NLC play when they travel to defending NLC champ Mishawaka at Baker Park on Monday, April 15th with first pitch set for 5:30 PM.
