The Lady Pilgrims hosted South Central on Monday after the Solar eclipse. The Varsity Lady Pilgrims would get a tough loss to a very talented team with the score being 1-8. South Central kept the bats quiet for the Lady Pilgrims keeping them off balance only allowing 4 hits and 1 run throughout the game. Gracie Patrick lead the Pilgrims in hitting going 2 for 3 with an RBI scoring Rylee Mann in the 2nd inning. The defense for the Lady Pilgrims continue to get better with having a clean game but just need to get the bats to work together. The JV Lady Pilgrims got their first win on the season defeating South Central 7-5. Gracie Patrick got the win for the JV pitching and leading the Pilgrims hitting attack was Lexi Pike and Kyndall Marcum. The Lady Pilgrims look to bounce back quickly hosting Triton on Tuesday night.
