Caleb Bowling-Trey Delp (P) beat Wes Newcomer-Ty Stankovich 6-0, 6-0 Records: Plymouth 4-5 (2-1) JV Score: Plymouth 8, NorthWood 4 Highlights: In the aftermath of the Blueberry Festival in Centennial Park, Plymouth hosted NorthWood Tuesday night and earned a nice 5-0 win over an NLC Conference opponent. 1S Carter Snyder, 3S Jake Stone, and 1D Matt Manzuk-Easton Strain all won their matches in straight sets, while the 2D team of Caleb Bowling and Trey Delp blanked their opponents 6-0, 6-0. After a first set loss, 2S Martin Baca batted back to win the second and third sets to help the Pilgrims complete the 5-0 sweep. The Plymouth JV also defeated the Panthers by an 8-4 score. Singles winners for the Pilgrims tonight were James Kruyer, Maclean Miller (twice), and Alex Kizer. Doubles winners for the Pilgrims tonight were Ryan Gadziola-Trenton Van Duyne, Zak Kresser-Aiden Landis, Jacob Payne-Brice Hoover, and Nick Manzuk-Owen Walleske. Plymouth will host Marshall County and Sectional rival Bremen on Wednesday, 9/7/22 at 4:30PM. Go Big Red!
