The Pilgrims were on the road Tuesday night at the Penn Palace home to the Penn Kingsmen. The JV Pilgrims got off to a slow start and were trailing after the 1st quarter 3 to 10. The offense would find a little of something in the 2nd quarter but just couldn't get it going enough in the 3rd quarter and the Kingsmen had all things working in the 2nd half. The Pilgrims were led by Kylen Ellery with 9 points, Brady Allen with 6, Hadyen Feldman with 5 and Kaden Milliser would score 7 points and grab 4 rebounds. The Jv Pilgrims would commit 17 turnovers and only shot 32 % From the field. Penn wold end up shooting 60 % from the field and only committed 8 turnovers. The JV Pilgrims look to rebound Saturday at Triton. The Varsity Pilgrims would play tough in the 1st half with a Penn team that was 13-5 going into the game and 8-2 in a tough NIC conference but couldn't keep things going in the second half where Penn would extend their lead and the final score being 35 to 62. The Pilgrims would only trial at the break by 4 but after a long halftime just couldn't get things going on the offensive end and that allowed Penn to get some things going and extend the lead that the Pilgrims just couldn't overcome. The Pilgrims were led by Kayden Ellery scoring 18 points and Preston Wolfe scoring 8 points. The Pilgrims look to rebound and get back on the winning side of things when they travel to Triton on Saturday with the JV tipping off at 6:15.
