The Lady Pilgrims Varsity team traveled to Angola to take part in their invite on Saturday and came back finishing 3rd place scoring 100.25 points. Bishop Dwenger and host Angola finished a head of the Lady Pilgrims with Angola scoring 108.9 points and Dwenger 110.85. Individual results were Jersey Hunter getting 5th in Vault, 10th in bars, 4th in beam and 6 all-around. Joy Everett finished 7th in vault while Arielle Ferman got 8th in vault, 6th in floor and 8th all-around. Personal Best for in vault was Joy Everett scoring 9.15, Arielle Ferman got a 7.25 on bars, 9.0 on floor and 32.65 on all-around. Jenna Blake got her personal best on bars scoring a 7.9. The team posted their highest point total in an invite for the season and scored just .025 off the vault school record. The Lady Pilgrims are showing their improvement and if they can continue this path they will be very competitive with their Sectional field. The Lady Pilgrims will travel Lakeland High School on Thursday, February 15th with action starting at 6:30 PM.
