The Rockies took the road to Huntington North to take on the Vikings on the first night of Blueberry Thursday and came back with a tough 33-20 lose. The Rockies scored on their first possession of the game with a touchdown run by quarterback Grady Metsker. The Rockies offense was lead by Finn Holm and Grady Metsker scoring for the Rockies while Avery Rivera and Andres Medrano lead the defense in tackles. The young Rockies struggled early to stop the running attack of the Vikings but halftime adjustments and changing the defensive front and the Rockies were able to have multiple 3 and outs. The Rockies are now 0-2 and take to the road to Warsaw when they play Thursday, September 8th.
