The Freshman Pilgrims traveled to LaPorte on Monday night and came back to town with a tough 17 to 34 loss. LaPorte came out and played very aggressive and pressured the young Pilgrims to speed up the game. The young Pilgrims struggled with the Slicer trap defense giving the host Slicers easy transition buckets. When the Pilgrims were able to get into their offense the Pilgrims struggled to find the bottom of the net. Coach McCrammer was very proud of the effort and fight in the team and their never give up attitude. The Pilgrims were led by Landon Tyler scoring 7 points and Bryce Busse who scored 3 points. The Pilgrims host Concord on Thursday night for the opening of the NLC tournament. Tip off is set for 6 pm in The Rock.
