The Lady Pilgrims traveled to the Great Western Forum at South Bend Washington High School to play NLC rival Mishawaka in the IHSAA Sectional #3 Wednesday night. The Lady Pilgrims started the game on the right note and got out fast scoring 11 points and holding the Cavemen to just 4 points to get momentum on their side. In the second quarter the Lady Pilgrims would struggle to find the bottom of the net and the pressure from Mishawaka caused Pilgrim turnovers that got Mishawaka back into the game and the Lady Pilgrims found themselves 2 points down at halftime 16 to 14. In the 3rd quarter the Cavemen and Lady Pilgrims would trade baskets and would prove that when it comes to postseason play everybody rises their play and things just speed up. The Lady Pilgrims would start the 4th quarter down 2 and the Lady Pilgrims would need to buckle down and work together in order to get the victory. The Lady Pilgrims would struggle to score in the 4th quarter early and just couldn't get over the hump and would end their season losing to Mishawaka 37 to 41. Mady Sullivan had 9 points, Lena Jones had 4 points, 4 assists, and 6 rebounds. Rylee Mann had 4 points and 11 rebounds while Alana Allen had 8 points and 6 rebounds. The Lady Pilgrims close out the 2024 season going 10-13 overall and finished 3-4 in the NLC.
