Boys Swimming - Pilgrims Finish 7th In The NLC

The Pilgrims traveled to Concord to take on the NLC in Swimming and Diving finals on Saturday. The Pilgrims would finish with a team score of 104 points to finish 7th and beating out Mishawaka who scored 30. The Pilgrims 200 medley relay team of Aiden Landis, Joseph Stauffer, Freddy Kallenberg, and Kyle Rumpler would finish 7th and dropped almost 3 seconds from their prelim time. Ben Beery would finish 15th in the 1 meter diving scoring 168.9 points and Aiden Landis would finish 16th in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:08.66 beating his prelim time of 1:12.48. Joseph Stauffer finished 11th in the 100 freestyle with a time of 52.59and Freddy Kallenberg would swim a 5:48.42 in the 500 freestyle earning him 14th place and teammate Kyle Rumpler would finish 16th swimming a 5:55.04. The Pilgrims 200 free relay team of Ray Ye, Aidan Faulstich, Leo Sickmiller, and Matthew Finney would swim a 1:47.58 earning them 6th place. In the 100 backstroke Aiden Landis sway a 1:06.14 to finish 14th and in the 100 breaststroke Joseph Stauffer finished 7th swimming a 1:03.89. For the 400 freestyle relay the Pilgrims swam a 3:52.17 allowing them to place 6th. The team members of the 400 relay were Kyle Rumpler, Freddy Kallenberg, Aiden Landis, and Joseph Stauffer. The Pilgrims will travel to Rochester on Tuesday, January 30th at 5:30 PM.
