The Pilgrims got 2 NLC wins last night in the snowy outside conditions over the visiting Warriors of Wawasee. The JV Pilgrims made things interesting with forcing 2 overtimes with Wawasee getting the tying score at the end of regulation and then Plymouth returning the favor up with a put back bucket to force the 2nd. It was a great game with it going back and forth but the Pilgrims were able to pull away in the 2nd overtime winning 54-47. Parker Bagley had 14 points and 6 rebounds, Hayden Feldman had 13 points. Kaden Milliser had a double double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Parker Wolfe helped the Pilgrims clean up the glass with grabbing 6 rebounds. The Pilgrims are now 10-3 on the season and got their first NLC win. The Varsity Pilgrims followed in the JV footsteps and came out shooting very well and were able to hold off a tough Warrior team 49 to 44 behind the shooting of Preston Wolfe. Wolfe would finish the game with 27 points, while Kayden Ellery scored 9 and Coby Walters scored 7. The Pilgrims were able to take a 24-23 lead into halftime and were able to play the type of game they hold themselves to and closed out the game. The Pilgrims are now 6-7 (1-3 NLC) as they get ready to take on Elkhart on Tuesday night in historic North Side Gym.
