Girls Swimming - Lady Pilgrims Get 5th in NLC Championships.

The Lady Pilgrims traveled to Northridge on Monday to finish their NLC Swim and Dive Championships. The Lady Pilgrims finished the regular season in 5th place and after the championship stayed in 5th place beating out NorthWood, Goshen and Mishawaka. The 200 Yard Medley relay started things off by finishing 4th with the members being Taylor Schadek, Vivian Wheeler, Kathryn Morrison, and Kieran Gritton. Kieran Gritton finished 6th in the 50 freestyle while in diving Desirae Esquivel finished 13th and Madi Hauptmann finished 15th. Kathryn Morrison finished 8th in the 100 butterfly, Vivian Wheeler finished 7th and Kieran Gritton finished 8th in the 100 freestyle. In the 200 free relay the members of Marisa Langfeldt, Rowynn Hall-Davis, Lauren Kopetski, and Claire Lewandowski finished 6th. Vivian Wheeler and Kathryn Morrison would go 6 and 7 in the 100 breaststroke. In the 400 free relay of Kieran Gritton, Taylor Schadek, Kathryn Morrison, and Vivian Wheeler finished 4th. Final scores from the meet: Concord 469, Northridge 352, Wawasee 329, Warsaw 279, Plymouth 208, Goshen 167, NorthWood 160, & Mishawaka 139. The Pilgrims travel to CMA Thursday night with Swimming starting at 5:30 and diving in the middle of the meet.
