The Rockies hosted Concord on Senior night last night and came out with a dominating 53 to 15 win. The Rockies honored 6 amazing seniors in Tristan Nix, Cadyn Smith, Wesley Smith, Seth Wright, Alonzo Chantea, and Anthony Popi. Chris Firebaugh would get the action started with getting a win by decision. Concord would then forfeit the next match not allowing Cadyn Smith to get his last regular season match in The Rock. Braxton White would get a win by decision, while Lucas Wright would then fight hard but stuck in pin. Daley Mullins and Aiden Miranda would go back to back pins for the Rockies. John Klinedinst at 215 weight class would get a loss by decision and Anthony Popi would get a win by major decision. Alonzo Chantea would get a quick pin while Jesse Allmon would get beat by pin. London Beaumont would use almost all his blood time but won the match by decision. Coen Kraemer and Seth Wright each got pins and Wesley Smith closed the night out by winning by major decision. The Rockies finished the regular season 26-3 (5-2 NLC) and wait for NLC Championships that will be held at Mishawaka High School in the Cave. Wrestling will start at 1 pm while doors for the event will open at 11 am.
