The Freshman Pilgrims traveled to South Bend Washington Saturday morning and came out with their first win of the season defeating the Panthers 36 to 31. The Pilgrims used a great zone defense in the first half to slow down the athletic Panthers and caused frustration in the Panthers offense. The Pilgrims would use their size to help score with Hudson Davis leading the way for the Pilgrims scoring 11 points on the day. Davis Jones scored 8 points, Bryce Busse chipped in 6 points and Austin Wagoner had 5 points. The Pilgrims will travel to Logansport on Monday with tip set for 6 pm.
