Wrestling - Rockies Continue Winning By Defeating John Glenn

The Rockies were back in action last night and continued to improve in every weight class by defeating John Glenn 63 to 14. The Rockies mixed the line up a little last night and you would never guessed it by seeing how each Rockie competed. London Beaumont starting things off with a come from behind decision by winning 9 to 8. Coen Kraemer would be next and would fight hard but fell to a 2 to 7 decision. The Rockies would then end up winning the next 5 matches by pin with Seth Wright, Wesley Smith, Chris Firebaugh, Braxton White, and Cadyn Smith. Aden VanDusen would make his varsity debut and would get beat by tech fall 7 to 23. Aiden Miranda got his varsity debut and won by forfeit and then John Klinedinst and Anthony Popi would win by pin. Jaden Eskew got her varsity debut win with a forfeit as well. Alonzo Chantea would get the last pin for the Rockies sealing the win for the Rockies. Jesse Allmon would lose by pin but would give a great fight. Coach Smith said, "Tonight was a great representation of this team's hard work. As the season goes on, I see them getting better and stronger. This team gives their heart to this team." The Rockies will compete in the historic Al Smith Invite starting on December 29th and winners advancing to December 30th event.
