The Lady Pilgrim gymnastics team traveled to LaPorte to take part in the LaPorte Pairs to open up the gymnastics season. With a core group of ladies back the Pilgrims look to continue their success from last season and get back to winning the sectional and advance past Regionals. Arielle Ferman would finish 6th on the vault scoring 8.2 while Jersey Hunter would get 5th on bars scoring 7.5 and getting 5th on beam scoring 8.45. Both Arielle and Jersey would finish 5th in the all around scoring 31.9 points. Jenna Blake and Lila Hanyzewski would finish 10th in all around scoring 29.15 points. The team would finish 4th overall and only the top 6 pairs earned points for their school. The Lady Pilgrims will travel to the Elkhart Invite on Saturday, December 30th starting at 12 pm.
