The Freshman Pilgrims welcomed the NorthWood Panthers into the Rock last night and took a lead into halftime but fell short in the second half to a talented Panther team 26 to 35. The Pilgrims played together on defense and got shots to fall in the first half. In the second half shots just couldn't find the net for the Pilgrims and some untimely turnovers gave NorthWood all the momentum. Coach McCrammer was very proud of the fight his team played with and their effort in the gym for practice everyday to get better every time they step out on the court. Leading the way for the Pilgrims was Davis Jones scoring 9 points and getting 5 rebounds, Landon Tyler with 7 points and 2 steals, and Austin Wagoner with 5 points. The Pilgrims will be back in action when they host the South Bend Riley Wildcats in the Auxiliary gym with tip at 6:15pm.
