The JV Rockies hosted the Kokomo Wildkats early this morning and came away with a hard fought loss 38-6. The Kokomo offense wore down the Rockies and in the 4th quarter showed when they were able to pull away from the Rockies. The offense struggled to get going till finding a connection in the 3rd quarter when Ryle Lunsford hit Aiden VanDusen for a 40 yard pass. The two point conversion failed and on the next drive Kokomo put the game away with an interception that went for a touchdown. Dayton Byrd and Even Brenneman lead the defense with Ryle Lunsford and Aiden Black and VanDusen leading the offense. The Rockies will be home Blueberry weekend when the Warsaw Tigers come into town.
