The Pilgrims hosted 7 high schools for the Pilgrim Relays today. The Pilgrim Relays is always a fun event for the swimmers, coaches, and fans as there are traditional relays mixed in with some unique events. The Pilgrims took 3 overall winning 3 races and taking 2nd place in 3 other races. The winning relays for the Pilgrims were the girls 200 medley relay, girls 400 free relay, girls 200 breaststroke relay and got second in the boys 200 breaststroke relay, girls 100 fly relay, and the mixed 400 individual medley. The boys 200 medley relay broke the 2 minute mark. Leo Sickmiller from the Pilgrims helped with running the last relay with South Bend Washington due to they were missing one swimmer and swam a personal best. The Pilgrims scored 111 while the winner Twin Lakes had 138 points and Kankakee Valley had 120 points to round out the top 3 teams. The Pilgrims are back in action Tuesday, December 5th when they host NLC Northwood with diving starting at 5 PM.
