Today was a great day for the girls! The girl's are finally back into the groove of school, and it showed on the golf course. The team pulled off a victory today against Wawasee with a score of 172 to their 207. I have to commend the girls tonight, for the most part their mental game was on point. They were thinking smart and were pulling off those difficult shots that we have been talking about. It's great to see their hard work in action. There were a few great highlights of the night. Sr. Elaina McDonald shot a 38. Her drives were flawless. On hole two, a par 4, she was about 25 yards from driving the green. Same hole, Soph. Noelle Hutchings answered Elaina's Drive with one not far behind. Both ended up on the green in two. Noelle Hutchings finished the match with a 44. Jv was able to play tonight, but not for an official score. Madeline Borden had solid contact and birdied both par 5s- finishing with a 44. The team total for JV was 186. These JV girls are putting big pressure on Varsity with Kylee Gaines shooting a 46 and Madison Hauptmann shooting a 44. The girls are finally in a rhythm, now that we are in mid season, it will help them achieve big goals if their heads stay in the game. #PlayPositivePlaySmart22
