The Lady Pilgrims welcomed the Bremen Lions to "The Rock" last night in a Marshall County Rival game. The JV for the Lady Pilgrims came out with defense on their mind and shut down the Lions attack winning 32 to 9. The Pilgrims totaled 18 steals on the game and was led on offense by Bailey Edmiston with 11 points and Olivia Warner chipping in 5 points. The highlight for the young Pilgrims was that all members of the team got great minutes including the Lady Pilgrims foreign exchange students. The win moves the JV record to 2-2 on the young season. The Varsity Pilgrims came into the game winning the past 2 games and welcomed the Bremen Lions who came in the game 3-1. It was a great atmosphere with a packed gym in a great Marshall County Rival game. The Lions though would end the night on the winning end defeating the Pilgrims 59 to 48. Leading the Lady Pilgrims was Mady Sullivan who scored 17 points and Sophie Miller who chipped 12 points. Senior Rylee Mann chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. The loss moves the Lady Pilgrims to 2-2 on the season and welcome another Marshall County foe in Triton on Thursday with JV tipping off at 6 PM.
