The Freshman Lady Pilgrims traveled with the JV Pilgrims to Warsaw to compete in the NLC tournament. In the first match the Lady Pilgrims defeated the Wawasee Warriors in straight sets 25-10 & 25-24. In the first set the girls came out ready to play and did a very nice job with communication and their energy on the court. The Lady Pilgrims continued their aggressive play and communication and defeated Concord in 3 sets 16-25, 25-16 & 15-13. The Lady Pilgrims made some great adjustments during the game and continued to have a positive attitude. In the final game the Lady Pilgrims fought hard but fell short against a very tough NorthWood Panthers team 25-23, 13-25, & 13-15. Members of the team that played so well was: Kloe Espinoza, Haileigh Olivarez, Gracie Patrick, Teyah Bankhart, Marissa Kmiatek, & Kristin Manges. The Lady Pilgrims finished the season 7-8 overall and 1-3 in the NLC.
