Saturday the girls golf team played in the Warsaw invitational. We were grateful to get in BOTH JV and Varsity teams! This was the first 18 hole match JV plated in since our Plymouth Invitational a few weeks ago. It was wonderful to have the full team at an event so close to home. For some, playing at Rozella was the first time they have seen this course. Even though it is open, the hills played as a challenge for our varsity team. While we were all under 100, the girls knew that they did not play to their fullest potential. I witnessed some amazing golf and found out what we will be concentrating on for range time this week. I need to give a big shout out to our JV team! They all played and scored a personal best for this season! Jr. Madison Hauptman's drives were absolutely amazing averaging about 200-220 yards. Sr. Emma Rozycki shot at 92 and had great contact with her irons. Fr. Meredith Borden and Sr. Kylee Gaines also performed well and scored personal best for this golf season! Overall, both JV and Varsity were able to pull off top 10 finishes with room to improve their scores. Great Job Girls!!
