Matt Kosnik-Conner Gibson (C) beat Matt Manzuk-Easton Strain 6-4, 6-2. 2. Will Jamison-Andrew Jamison (C) beat Caleb Bowling-Cam Shively 6-4, 6-2 Next match: Varsity/JV vs. Peru Tuesday, 8/23/22, 5:00PM. Highlights: Plymouth hosted its annual Crossroads Classic double-dual format tourney on Saturday, playing two Fort Wayne area schools, Leo and FW Carroll. Plymouth saw good competition, which will make us better in the long run...but lost both matches Saturday, 4-1 to Leo and 5-0 to FW Carroll. 1D Matt Manzuk-Easton Strain provided the lone point of the day, beating a solid Leo 1D team 6-4, 6-1 after falling behind 3-0 early in the first set. 1S Carter Snyder saw two All-State caliber opponents Saturday, while Plymouth's 1D team played a competitive match vs. the same FW Carroll duo that was named as an All-State doubles team in 2021. The Pilgrims played some exhibition matches as well. The doubles team of Trey Delp-Ryan Gadziola went 1-1 for the day, beating Leo and losing to FW Carroll, while the doubles team of James Kruyer-Maclean Miller went 2-0 for the day, beating two different Munster doubles teams. Plymouth will host a strong Peru team at home on Tuesday, 8/23/22 at 5:00PM. Go Big Red!
