The Lady Rockies hosted a tough Saint Joseph soccer team last night. The JV Rockies started out hot with scoring 2 goals in the first half. St. Joe would respond and get two late in the 1st half to force a tie at halftime. Saint Joseph would get 2 more in the second half to take the win for the visiting team 4-2 final. The Lady Rockies varsity was missing some players due to injury but this young team fought from start to finish against a very talented and ranked Saint Joseph team. The visitors scored early but the Rockies defense showed up for the rest of the half and fighting off the St. Joe attack. Coach Stiles said,'the first half was some of our best minutes we have played all season. To stay defensively disciplined, composed, playing intensity is what we want Plymouth Girls Soccer to be all 80 minutes.' Saint Joseph would show is power in the second half scoring 6 goals to make the final 0-8 in favor of the visiting team. The young Lady Rockies are back in action when they travel to NLC foe Mishawaka to take on the Lady Cavemen at Baker Park with JV starting at 5:30 pm.
