The Freshman Rockies got their first taste of NLC football and came out on a tough end of the job losing 18-54. Scoring for the Rockies were Josh Gibbons on a 15 yard touchdown run, Ben Shivley with a 2 yard run and then a 78 yard touchdown pass to Davis Jones. Quintin Price and Josh Gibbons led the defense with their play at linebacker. The Rockies never game up and went up against a very tough Tiger option offense and played to the whistle. The Rockies are back in action on Thursday, September 15th when they travel to Wawasee.
