The Lady Rockies opened up NLC action with Warsaw on Tuesday night. The Tigers are coming off being the defending NLC champs and have a lot of experience coming back while the Rockies are young and for most of the team getting their first NLC varsity action. The JV got their first taste of soccer action due to the first three opponents were unable to field a JV team. The young JV Rockies ended up losing 0-10. For the varsity contest the Tigers came out and controlled most of the half with spacing and great passing. The Tigers would strike early getting the ball in the net twice. The Tigers would get two more goals before the half to take a 4-0 lead. Because of the depth that the Tigers they were able to ware down the Rockies defense and score 5 more in the second half. The Lady Rockies will be back in action at the Plex Tuesday, August 29th when they host the SB Adams Eagle with JV starting at 6pm with varsity to follow.
