The Pilgrims continue to play tough opponents to open up the season with having to travel for second time to Penn. The first meeting was postponed due to weather, but with the heat and Pilgrims had to battle not only the elements but a tough Penn lineup that just got ranked 20th in the state. The lone Pilgrim to get a set win was Trent Van Duyne who usually plays doubles but Coach Haeck changed up the line up and Trent came out with a 6-4, 6-4 win. Overall the Pilgrims showed great improvement from their performance in the Crossroad classic where the Pilgrims lost all matches to both Leo and Carroll.
