The Lady Rockies hosted Marshall County Rival Argos last night in a Ounce of Prevention Pink out game. With being a young team against a very talented Argos team the Rockies are still learning the system and getting adjusted to playing with so many new players. Argos being a more veteran group used the youth of the Rockies and attacked early and often. Argos scored early in the game from the foot of Hines scoring 2 minutes in the game. Argos would add one more goal with 15 seconds left in the half to take a 2-0 lead to half. Coach Stiles said of her team, "we are young and we are fresh. All we can do is hammer down our fundamentals and expectations and keep our head focused on the big picture." The Lady Pilgrims would end up finishing the game in a tough 5-0 score. They are back in action with it being another varsity only contest against the Logansport Berries with start time being 11 am at Kindt Soccerplex. Come on out and cheer on the Lady Rockies and help them get the first win of the season.
