In a season filled with hard work, spirit, and determination, the Plymouth High School Varsity Competition Cheer Team etched their names into school history by finishing state runner-up at the IASP State Finals in the Timeout Division — the first year the program ever attempted to qualify for this event. Led by the guidance of the coaching staff and the unwavering leadership of their senior members, the squad embraced the challenge of entering new territory. Competing against the state’s top cheer programs, the team showcased precision, pride, and unmatched enthusiasm that captured the judges’ and crowd’s attention alike. “This was our first year ever attempting to qualify for the IASP Timeout Division, and to not only qualify but finish as state runner-up is an incredible accomplishment,” said Coach Langowski. “These athletes stepped into something completely new and exceeded every expectation. Their heart, determination, and pride for Plymouth showed in everything they did. Making history as first-time qualifiers and finishing as state runner-up is something they’ll never forget. Their dedication and teamwork have set a new standard for Plymouth Cheer and laid the foundation for an even stronger future.” This milestone marks a defining moment for Plymouth Cheer, symbolizing how far the program has come — and hinting at an even brighter future ahead. The team now sets its sights on its next challenge at the UCA Hoosier Regional on November 23, a Nationals Qualifier that will once again put their skills and spirit to the test. Congratulations to the athletes and coaches for a remarkable performance that will be remembered as one of the proudest moments in Plymouth Cheer history.
