The Lady Pilgrims opened up NLC play with hosting the Northridge Lady Raiders and Warsaw Lady Tigers. Plymouth and Warsaw both shared the NLC crown last year so the ladies were ready to try and defend their crown. Unfortunately the match didn't go as well as the Lady Pilgrims were hoping for losing to both very talented NLC teams. All three teams had to battle the elements with rain but all teams were excited that they were able to get the match in because of the weather. The Lady Pilgrims were only 5 shots behind Warsaw and 9 shots behind Northridge. Leading the Lady Pilgrims was Madeline Borden shooting a 40. The next match for the ladies is Tuesday, August 15th when they go to Swan Lake to take on Bremen.
