The Lady Pilgrims got back on the winning train by defeating Michigan City. The Lady Pilgrims shot a team score of 188 in 9 holes. The girls were battling mental toughness with it being the first day of school and getting back in the routine of school and golf. However, out on the course you would not have noticed that it was the first day of school. Each lady showed improvement and determination to grow as a golfer. The Michigan City golfers were in great spirits and our lady golfers enjoyed the round they played together. Some highlights from the round were Madison Hauptmann finished off the round with a great birdie. Hannah LaFree has been working on straightening out her putting and it showed. Madeline Borden was back in her groove with amazing drives off the tee box. Noelle Hutchings had a great chip shot that put her in prime location on the green. Taylor Hauptmann has been working on her iron shots which has helped her get to the greens in regulation. I big shoutout to JV player Meredith Borden who was able to play tonight, was extremely positive and is looking forward to improving her game in the coming weeks.
